Things Are Birthing Early& How to Prepare

This month I received an update on the prophetic word and encounter I had last year on Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.

It was September 19, 2018, and I had a very powerful prophetic dream and spiritual encounter with the Lord. I released this prophetic word, “Ancient Paths and Time of Transition” in October 2018 and also on my Spirit Connection Webcast.

This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16 NIV. In the Yom Kippur dream I saw a narrow doorway that would only allow a person to go through it. The doorway was leading to the new year and our future.

I heard the Lord say, “This is the doorway to the new year you are entering into. You will not be able to take things from the past into this new season. It is going to be a narrow time of transition, but it is going to be worth it all.”

Things are birthing early

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. John 3:6 NIV

Quite often it takes about 9 months for new revelation and prophetic words to actually come to pass or to be “birthed” into your life. This is similar to the time it takes for a woman to carry and then give birth to a child.

The Lord spoke to me this week that we are right in the middle of the 9-month birthing process of the things He released to you at the Jewish New Year last September 19, 2018.

This week is the halfway mark between the prophetic word released September 2018 and the nine-month birthing coming in June. He told me this week to give people a heads up to not be discouraged if things look opposite or difficult.

The Lord said, “I am now going to speed up the process of what I released to you at Yom Kippur. Instead of nine months of waiting until June, things are now coming in half the time. I am releasing the start of the prophetic words, callings and giftings starting in February 2019.

What is coming in June 2019

The accelerated release is to prepare us for something greater that is coming nine months after Yom Kippur. The Lord said, “Get ready for new levels of things to be released starting the week of June 19, 2019.”

This is also the celebration of Juneteenth, celebrated in the U.S. to commemorate June 19,1865—the announcing of the freedom of slaves.

Mark your calendars for something significant to start June 19, 2019. There is going to be new freedom, and greater levels of intimacy, power and authority.

Secret Place dream

I received a major prophetic word and dream in February in which I was driving in a car with an angel looking for a “secret place” to pray. We were driving deeper and deeper into a beautiful campsite that was deserted. I was wondering why no one was there as it was so pretty and peaceful.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. Psalm 91:1–3 NKJV

The Lord said, “These are the new places I am going ahead to prepare for people seeking me.” I knew this had something to do with the fulfillment of the prophetic word I had gotten at the Jewish New Year and that soon people were going to be moving into this deeper hidden place.

The Lord is calling us to leave things from the past season and seek Him for the new pathways to deeper intimacy and revelation for this year.

The dream I had this week of the secret place campsites reminded me of the Yom Kippur encounter of the ancient pathways. Also, I noticed the campsites had numbers that seemed to coincide with chapters from the Bible and particularly the Psalms.

How to prepare

Look back to last September to see if the Lord was speaking to you. It does not have to be exact on the calendar. It could also relate to something you have been feeling is going to happen.

A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6:7–9 NIV

Begin to sow into the things of the spirit and not the feelings of your emotions or flesh.

Spend time over the next few months worshiping, reading, praying and decreeing Bible verses.

Take communion and step away from things that are not good for you.

Stop complaining and grumbling and sow blessings instead.

Don’t be discouraged because in due time you will reap a harvest. Due time is overdue!
