Our Purpose – Birthed Through Our Identity

A Word By Anne Marie Molster & Amie Rogers

How often do we hijack our purpose with instant gratification and the desire to bypass the process? A truth we need to understand as we begin to step forward with His lead is that even though miracles can seem to manifest suddenly, God’s “suddenlies” are usually backed by process.

Your process won’t keep you “stuck” or “delayed” when you simply embrace it. The Lord promises He WILL move you when you are ready! Many of us become fearful because of the brokenness we have experienced. What God wants us to understand is that our cracks are what He shines through. What we must come to realize is that it is possible for us to be broken, but no longer wounded. Our process is often prolonged when He wants to do a deep work within us; cleaning out any areas that may cause us to wound others while we are still experiencing pain ourselves. Once He completely heals our wounds, He will then empower us to go out.

Our purpose is then to share the history of the process in which God has lead us to victory over our circumstances. “His story” manifests through our sharing and our testimonies. Our testimony then becomes someone else’s prophetic word and an encouragement that leads them to their ultimate victory and purpose in Him.

“Consider is pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, BECAUSE YOU KNOW that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be MATURE and COMPLETE, not lacking anything.” James 1:2-4 (NIV, emphasis added)

The story of Lazarus, his illness, his death and resurrection is a great comparison to our lives and this very process. When we think about it, we are all sick and dying. Just as Jesus came and spoke life into Lazarus and raised him from the dead, He speaks life into each of us every day. A new life in Him raises us up from the depths of darkness where we once lay. Lazarus walked out of the dark tomb in his smelly grave clothes and he immediately took them off. Our process is the same, as we simply need to shed off the grave clothes we once wore. Shedding off our shame, addictions and pain from the past that prohibits us from stepping into where we’re called. Lazarus didn’t waste a minute after he was given new life; he shed off what he no longer needed and what would only remind him of the suffering that caused him death. We are each given new life just as Lazarus was; seeing the glory of God manifest in it, when we just believe!

“Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believed?”” John 11:40 GNB

This new life empowers us to go; reflecting the new life Jesus has given us! Some will be called to the masses; yet we are ALL called to find the one!

“…will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?…” Matthew 18:12-14 (NIV)

This scripture gives us an understanding that no matter how large or small our ministry is, our purpose is great! Some may speak to large crowds and to many over a lifetime, however not all of us have been given that same calling. Sharing with the one person we are lead to is just as important; leading them into a relationship with the Lord and ultimately into the Kingdom of God.

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannon see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:4 (NIV)

We must be willing to step out into the unknown, under His promptings and instruction and watch Heaven manifest in our lives. We cannot depend on others as we do this, we must be dependent upon Heaven!! Our Heavenly Inheritance will manifest out of dreams, visions and mandates from The Throne and Treasuries of Heaven; NOT of this world!

“…He always lives to intercede for them…” Hebrews 7:25 (NIV)

Remember, Kingdom Life is NOT Earthly life!! Our authority comes from Heaven and manifests in our service. If you want power and authority over many, you have to be rid of the desire of power; there is no room for pride. In your service, you need to be just as eager and joyful to scrub a bathroom, as you are to stand on a stage! Heaven measures our service based on the attitude of our hearts, not the work of our hands.

As we step out, we need to be sure we are walking in our own shoes; in the identity given to us. Our purpose is unique to our gifting and our own personality traits. Imitation may be the best form of a compliment, but imitating another’s form of ministry is not what God has intended for us. He designed us for His “one of a kind” purpose and our own personal destiny in Him. Our unique circumstances allow us to be passionate in the areas that He wants to use us in. However, we must be sure to remember that our circumstances are not our identity. Our identity is birthed as we conquer our circumstances and become victorious in Him!

“…and ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him. I ask that your minds may be opened to see his light, so that you will know what is the hope to which he has called you, how rich are the wonderful blessings he promises his people, and how very great is his power at work in us who believe. This power working in us is the same as the mighty strength” Ephesians 1:17-19 (GNB)

The Lord shared the following thoughts in a recent word.

“I want my children to hear of My love for their uniqueness. I will not honor imitations. I want them to step forward in what I created them and purposed them for – not into the assignment of another. That job is taken. Look within, listen to the desires of your heart, not to anyone else’s desire for you. Your next step can then be made with ease. There is a beat that you will begin to march to, a rhythm that will allow you to flow in your given assignment.”

We must believe in all that He has spoken through the ages and how His word applies to our walks today. We must listen to Him as we tune our hearts to His voice and hear what he is speaking to us now.

“I am healing hearts right now! May your hope NEVER be hindered by disappointment ever again!

All the tears you’ve cried were not wasted; they were seeds in The Kingdom! Acceleration is hitting and you will be harvesting each of those tears; returning as blessing.

Strongholds and blockages are being removed! The Courts of Heaven have heard your cries. ALL the word curses and blockages that have held you up and held you back have been declared NULL & VOID!

YOU ARE BEING RELEASED!”

Anne Marie Molster is a wife and mother of two daughters who shares the heart of the Lord through her prophetic writing. After standing strong in her faith through many seasons that could have easily defeated her, her passion is to give hope to others by showing God’s deep compassion for His children while instilling the belief that they can do anything through Christ who strengthens them. She prays that they will find great faith in what is unseen, rather than what is seen in the natural. Through her testimony and the many signs and wonders that Anne Marie has experienced, she wants others to see God as their Father in Heaven who is constantly working on their behalf, working all things for the good of those who love Him.
