The Ram Will Be On Time!

“And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. (Genesis 22:13)


Can you imagine the relief that came over Abraham as the angel stayed his hand. The peace of seeing the ram hidden in the thicket to take the place of his beloved Isaac. It is at this point he names the place, The Lord Will Provide or Jehovah Jireh. I often wonder why he did not notice the ram at first. It may have been that he was intent on his task or God did not allow him to see it until the test was complete. Perhaps seeing Gods provision before the time could have gotten in the way of Abraham’s obedience.


If you are waiting on something from the Lord, rest assured “the ram will be in the bush on time.” We must not only look with our natural eyes, but our spiritual eyes as well. If it seems to be taking longer than anticipated, don’t get discouraged. Perhaps much like Abraham, God is perfecting something in you before it all comes to completion. He is our on time God!


I hear the Lord say, “Just when you though all hope was lost, I am breaking through for the rescue. The ram will be on time!”


In that moment on the mount, Abraham thought that he was killing his promise, but God provided a way out. You may even feel at the end of your promise, but God is sending his ram of provision to you even now. Praise God and stay in that place of faith declaring your ram.


God is sending your provisions for the promise! Your Ram will be right on time!


Increase your faith for the ram of God’s provision to manifest in your life. He wants to supply all your needs and promises to do so. Even as you take a step of obedience right now and sow a love offering...
