📙 TIPP - If the Son Sets You Free, You Shall Be Free Indeed

I am often asked, "Is it possible to be delivered and not go back? If so, how?" Yes, it is possible to be delivered, and yes, it is possible to stay free. I am not sharing information I read about, but instead these are strategies and tools I walked out. My approach in this book is to bring to light the truth of the Word that declares, "Therefore if the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed" (John 8:36). Not only are you set free, but you are free indeed, which is a surety.

The enemy has no power, and everything he has ever spoken to you about your freedom, or the supposed lack of it, is a lie. "God is not a man, that He should lie" (Num. 23:19)—you are free. Even now, before you continue reading, take a bold step by making this declaration and silencing the enemy: "Because Jesus has set me free, I am free indeed." Say it as many times as you need to until you are convinced that you are free.

The Messiah has set you free so that you may enjoy the benefits of freedom. "It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery" (Gal. 5:1, NIV). The blood of Jesus makes you free. But once you are set free, the enemy's strategy is to entangle you again. It is your responsibility to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12). You cannot simply make a confession without some form of participation in the process. Yes, Jesus sets you free, but there are strategic steps you must take to maintain your freedom. Lift up your head and prepare for victory after victory. Wipe the dust off your feet and declare, "I will maintain my deliverance."
